Licence to operate a
non-slewing mobile crane (greater than 3 tonnes capacity)
TLILIC0008 - 4 DAY COURSE
Mobile crane operators must be deemed competent in the following topics:
Plan the work, conduct routine checks, set up crane, transfer loads, mobile loads and shut down, and secure the crane. This course is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work and in its current form meets state and territory licensing requirements.
The Written Assessment and Practical Assessment will be completed throughout the duration of the course to those who are competent. Anyone who is not competent in passing the written component will not proceed onto doing the practical.
Course training manual and support material.
Steel cap work boots and appropriate clothing is required for the duration of the course. If possible please bring your own safety helmet and glasses. (Safety equipment will be provided if required).
4 x 8 hour days for up to 7 persons.
14 Neil Street, Gladstone (off Callemondah Drive behind the Gladstone Airport).
Follow the signs to classrooms.
Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
Identification such as QLD driver licence, 18+card or birth certificate will be required.
Clear understanding of both the written and verbal English language and mathematical calculations.
Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the course.
