Licence to Operate
a Forklift Truck
TLILIC0003- 3 DAY COURSE
This unit specifies the outcomes required for the operation of a powered industrial truck equipped with a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachment, for licensing purposes. This definition also includes a truck on which the operator is raised with the attachment for order-picking. This unit is based on the requirements of the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work.
The Written Assessment and Practical Assessment will be completed throughout the duration of the course. Anyone who is not competent in passing the written component will not proceed to doing the practical.
Course Training Manual and support material.
Steel cap work boots and appropriate clothing is required for the duration of the course. If possible, please bring your own helmet and safety glasses. (Safety equipment will be provided if required).
3 x 8 hour days for up to 6 people.

Follow the signs to classrooms.
Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
Identification such as QLD drivers license, 18+card or birth certificate will be required.
Clear understanding of both the written and verbal English language and mathematical calculations.
Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the course.
