Licence to Operate a Boom- type Elevating Work Platform

This training program specifies the outcomes required to operate a boom type elevating work platform (boom length 11 meters or more) and involves the operation of a telescoping device, hinged device, articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work. License to operate a boom-type elevating work platform (boom length 11 meters or more) course is specifically developed to provide the legally required formal training and assessment standards for the purposes of certification.
The Written Assessment and Practical Assessment will be completed throughout the duration of the course to those who are competent. Anyone who is not competent in passing the written component will not proceed on to doing the practical.
Course Training Manual and support material.
Steel cap work boots and appropriate clothing is required for the duration of the course. If possible please bring your own safety helmet and glasses if possible. (Safety equipment will be provided if required).
3 x 8 hour days for up to 6 persons
14 Neil Street, Gladstone (off Callemondah Drive Behind the Gladstone Airport).
Follow the signs to classrooms.
Participants must be 18 years of age or over.
Identification applicants must produce 3 forms of identification.
Clear understanding of both the written and verbal English language and mathematical calculations.
Anyone found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be asked to leave the course.
